The name of this track, Mycelium is the name given to the vast underground fungal network that joins together trees in a forest. I found this to be the best way to describe the connection I have with Oene van Geel. We connect through sound as if we are trees and our roots are interwound by some vast network sharing energy and imagination.

As for the artwork, I picked a painting Oene and I made together, then the über talented Kevin Perrin took a fragment of it, manipulated it and collaged it into what you see here, much like the artwork for my previous release Atash. Once again this is a perfect visual connection with the music.

This performance was recorded live at Splendor in September 2020, so you can hear the honesty in the performance. It was captured by the wonderful Nicholas Thayer, and together with Nicholas I produced the version that you hear here.
